Manager - Waterside Credit Union

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced, proactive professional Manager, reporting to the Board and assuming responsibility for day-to-day management and successful operation of Waterside Credit Union. Familiarity with the ethos and practices of the Credit Union movement is essential. This position will be a pre-approval controlled function (PCF).

Essential criteria:

  • Relevant third level/professional qualification in business, finance, management or a related area plus two years’  experience of managing and supervising staff OR Five years’ experience of working in or with a bank, credit union or similar financial institution, two of which should include experience of managing and supervising staff.
  • Experience of: preparing management reports and business plans, implementing and developing policies/procedures, and interpreting and analysing financial reports and statements.  

The above criteria are the minimum requirements only and may be enhanced at the discretion of the short-listing panel.
